RESIN and METAL PELLETS ARE PRICED AS A FUNCTION OF:

    DIAMOND CONCENTRATION,

    DIAMOND GRIT SIZE,

    VOLUME OF PELLET,

        AND TO A LESSER EXTENT,

    THE GRADE (HARDNESS) OF THE PELLET.

The Material being lapped is an important driver of the type of fixed abrasive required.
